매일 공부  Day 33:

오늘은 Prisoners of Geography에 마지막 장인 The Arctic에 대해 읽었네요. "The Arctic region includes land in parts of Canada, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and the United States (Alaska). It is a land of extremes: for brief periods in the summer the emperature can reach 26 degrees Celsius in some places, but for long periods in winter it plunges to below minus 45. (257)  그중 가장 많은 지역을 차지 하고 있는 러시아는 Arctic 에서는 어떤 나라에 비해 큰 힘을 가지고 있는게 확실하네요.
