"The coronavirus pandemic has introduced extreme uncertainty into nearly every aspect of society." 이번 Article은 이렇게 시작 되네요. 정말 그렇죠! 경제뿐아니라, 아이들 교육, 병원, 백신은 언제 나오는지, 얼제쯤 우리는 일자리로 학교로 돌아가도 되는 건지... 모든게 불 확실하고, 그 누구도 확실한 답을 줄수 없는 상황입니다.

이 Article 은 "The short answer to why there is so much divergence is because no one knows for sure what is going to happen. Digging deeper, three key factors are causing forecasters particular difficulties."

First, the economic impact and speed of policy changes have never been higher. 

Second, the pandemic is undermining the reliability of economic data — the bedrock of any good macroeconomic model.

The third reason the models are diverging so much is because economic forecasters are having to delve into the unfamiliar world of epidemiology to better understand the likely evolution of the coronavirus outbreak in each country. 

이번 사태가 왜이렇게 예측할 수 없고 의견이 나눠 지는지 세가지 이유를 들어 설명하네요.

제가 봤을 때 3가지 이유 모두 여태까지 우리가 겪어보지 못한 상황이라 그렇다는 거네요.

"The knowledge gained could make the uncertainty of future economic crises, whenever and however they come, that bit less extreme." 결말은 이번 상황에서 얻은 경험과 지식으로 앞으로 우리에게 또 있을 수 있는 불황이나 힘든 상황에도 우리는 지금보다는 더 잘 대체 할것이라고 마무리하네요.

맞는 말이네요... 우리도 다 알고 있는 말이기도 하고요 ^^.
